The Talented Tenth Leadership Program

We partner with organizations to create transformative programs for Atlanta's youth. We have collaborated with Atlanta's Municipal Court, American Friends Service Committee, and the Restorative Justice Center to create a prolific alternative sentencing program. This program gives those who have committed nonviolent city violations the opportunity to participate in an asset-based leadership program rather than serve time in jail. Participants learn how to overcome personal obstacles to influence their peers, their government, and their economy as agents of change.

Intervention

The Talented Tenth Mentorship Program

We work with elementary schools to help change the trajectory of our children.. Our goal is to work with the administration and faculty to increase academic achievement. We are implementing the Talented Tenth Mentorship program, which focuses on improving the self-perception of the young people we engage.
